Wonderfully Simple The prewire kit made this project immensely easier and enjoyable. I initially planned on hiring someone to upgrade my tele to a 4 way switch and swap out the pickups. Then I stumbled onto Obsidian while researching the process of installing the new electronics. Once I realize there was no soldering, I smiled and knew I would be doing this on my own. It took about an hour as I am a novice at fixing my guitars, but that was a very enjoyable hour and not a nervous one. The end result was fantastic! My upgraded tele sounds cleaner, allowing the new pick ups to shine. The 4 way switch is just too cool. Having an additional humbucker position adds new joy to playing a telecaster. I would highly recommend Obsidian. This should be the way electric guitars are set up electronically!
